The CASTRO & BERGUIDO team has been the main character of important projects and cases at a national and international level. In this sense, it has represented national and multinational companies, as well as renowned artists at an international level.

As to special projects, its lawyers have acted as founders and active members of important action groups, as International Transparency in its Panama chapter, Latin American Institute of Advance Legal Studies (ILDEA), among others. In addition, the CASTRO & BERGUIDO team has participated in the elaboration of bills, various legal documents and opinions that have had great impact in the Panamanian corporation and the development of the legal framework of the country.

With respect to cases, CASTRO & BERGUIDO has participated in important contentious processes representing renown national companies. One of the cases of more projection is the one of the lawsuit against the Panamanian Government, through which it was possible to eliminate some range of taxes for cement companies invoking incentives to the industry. Likewise, the lawyers of the firm have participated in arbitration processes at a national and international level, as for example, in the state of New York (United States).

The lawyers of CASTRO & BERGUIDO represent and give counsel to multinational companies such as Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, BMW, Bristol-Myers Squibb, among others, in several aspects and with emphasis in the processing of visas and work permits for its top executives and personnel in general.

The lawyers of CASTRO & BERGUIDO have participated in the processing of visas and immigration permits for artists such as Pierce Brossman, Jeffrey Rosh, Jamie Lee Curtis, Leonor Varela and John Polito, among others, as part of the process for the filming of the movie “The Tailor of Panama”.
